Every once in a while, we run across a younger player with advanced knowledge of their true hitting needs. The B5 instantly became one of those premier solutions. Designed by a MiLB player, the B5 enlists many advanced hitter elements. Starting with a medium diameter knob and using a steep flare into the .950” upper hand, the B5 helps to comfort-fit larger, more powerful hands. It’s robust handle grows into a full scaled head at 2.51”, which requires the hitter to trust feeling the barrel to place it while not being afraid of the end-loaded power. The B5 is a great bat for seasoned, strong hitters, but doesn’t like tip- or jam shots too often. Best in -2 or -3 weight drops.
