Q&A

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO HANDLING PRESSURE DURING COMPETITION?

Take it slow, don’t overthink it, and keep it as simple as possible.

I take the adversity I face and learn from it for the future—I don’t let it affect my mindset in a negative way.

Short-term, I focus on getting 1% better every day. Long-term, I want to play baseball at the highest level possible.

I bring energy and positivity, keeping my team locked in even in tough situations.

I lift five days a week and hit six days a week. Two to three days a week, I’ll add a second session focused on explosiveness and heavy lifting.

I listen to low-beat music while going at my own pace with stretching. Then, I go through my full hitting routine before joining the team for warmups.

My approach at the plate—focusing on pitch selection and hitting the pitches I want.

I wake up early and lift before school, then head to practice after school. Later, I hit again after dinner to get extra reps in.

I love collecting bats—maybe a little too much!
