When handling pressure, I remind myself that it’s just a game and focus on being present in the moment. I embrace the pressure because it brings out the competitive nature in good players.
I always go back to my “Why.” Keeping that in mind helps me push through the struggles that come with the season and offseason. Every challenge teaches me something new, and I grow from each experience.
Short-term, I want to win a National Championship at Clemson. Long-term, my goal is to play in Major League Baseball and stay in the league for many years.
I love encouraging my teammates and bringing them along with me. I believe leadership isn’t about having a title—it’s about helping others grow and succeed.
My routine is what sets me apart. I believe in planning my days with intent and purpose so that I can maximize my time and get 1% better every day.
I always listen to music through my Beats headphones. Once I have my tunes going and I’m in a relaxed state, I’m locked in and ready to go.
I believe I’m always a work in progress. There’s no single area I focus on—I aim to improve in every aspect of the game, every single day.
I wake up at 8:00 AM and eat breakfast, then go to class from 9:05 AM – 12:05 PM. After lunch, I head to the field for training, lifting, and individual work from 12:50 PM – 6:00 PM. After dinner, I focus on study hall and homework, then unwind before getting to bed by 12:30 AM.
I’m from Detroit, MI.
