Q&A

Aimon, in his own words

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO HANDLING PRESSURE DURING COMPETITION?

I like to stay loose and calm but also keep the energy alive by having fun and keeping things light. When the pressure is on, I lock in and focus on getting the job done.

HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH ADVERSITY AND CHALLENGES?

I’ve overcome challenges by dialing in my training and mindset. I used to be a heavier kid, and through dedicated work in the gym, I improved my speed, strength, and mental game, leading to major growth in my career.

WHAT ARE YOUR SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM GOALS IN BASEBALL?

Short-term, I want to continue developing my leadership skills and be a driving force on my team. Long-term, my goal is to prove myself at the highest level possible and make an impact in baseball.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT TEAMMATE?

I bring energy, leadership, and camaraderie to the team. I know how to lift up my teammates, be a supportive friend, and help them push through challenges.

WHAT’S YOUR TRAINING REGIMEN LIKE?

I train 5-6 days a week, splitting time between hitting with college and pro guys and hitting the gym for strength and mobility work. Even on off days, I focus on stretching and recovery to stay in peak shape.

DESCRIBE YOUR PRE-GAME RITUAL.

I listen to music, stay off my phone, and mentally visualize different game scenarios. I picture myself succeeding and overcoming tough situations so I can approach every at-bat with confidence.

WHAT AREAS OF YOUR GAME ARE YOU CURRENTLY FOCUSED ON IMPROVING?

I’m constantly working on my mental game and approach at the plate—two key areas that make good players great.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY ROUTINE LOOK LIKE?

I start my day early, heading to school by 7:30 AM. After school, I hit with college and pro players, followed by strength training in the gym. Evenings are for homework, recovery, and a little downtime before bed.

ANY FUN FACTS ABOUT YOU?

I have soft hair, and I love steak and risotto.

The same bats the pros swing.
